I guess it should be made official...until the TELECOM digest returns,
comp.dcom.telecom submissions should be made to me. I'll ask Gene to
note this in the next "mailpaths" release. In the meantime, could you
please modify your /usr/lib/news/mailpaths file to read:
comp.dcom.telecom telecom@vector.uucp
All messages received at this address are assumed to be news submisstions.
Administrivia should be sent to "telecom-request@vector.uucp".
I will tend to publish all articles with two exceptions:
1) Cross-posted messages are not encouraged, and are allowed only if
a followup-to field is included.
2) Quoted text from a previous message may be edited down to suit
the moderator's whims.
To those of you who have already sent in telecom submissions to me, my
appologies for the delay in getting things going. All of my scripts and
tools became useless when we switched away from the digest-based system.
I've got things rolling again, so I should be able to meet my "one-day
turnaround" goal once again.
If and when the TELECOM digest returns on-line, comp.dcom.telecom will
return to its former ways.
