I'm not sure of what can be done about this, but one of the moderated news groups has dried up completely for the last couple of months. The rec.music.gaffa newsgroup has not had anything in it for almost two months now. I've inquired about it's status in rec.music.misc and no one there seems to know what has happened to it. I have had several e-mails wondering if there is a way to un-moderate a moderated newsgroup. Before the shutdown, the group was in an "auto-pilot" mode and had quite a few postings. Previously, the turnaround for posts took up to a month before they turned up. I'm sure there are many others that have been a part of the group that would like to be able to "use" it again. Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

The machine that rec.music.gaffa was homed on was decommissioned, it should have a new home shortly. At least, this is what I heard at the last "conspiracy" meeting... /rich $alz -- Please send comp.sources.unix-related mail to rsalz@uunet.uu.net.
