(1) Brad will not be making money from Usenet. He will be
making money from GEnie. I think he should donate
some of it to the Anti-Defamation League, to make
up for his past, but that's another issue!
(2) Those who don't want Brad to make money from their
jokes should (1) not post at all to rhf, and should
explicitly copyright their postings to rec.humor --
Brad may have a compilation copyright on rhf, but
*not* on rec.humor -- at least no more of one than
anyone else has. Those that don't care, or like
the idea of Brad getting money from GEnie, are,
by sending jokes to rhf, giving permission to him
to sell such jokes if he sees fit because Brad
has explicitly notified us that such a sale is a
possibility.
Now: could we get back to discussing creation of
talk.wardcleaver as an alternative to talk.bizarre?
