This is the final call for votes for creation of a new group
comp.org.interex
which will be a direct interface between Hewlett Packard computer system
users and the International HP Users Group INTEREX. This group will cover all
flavors of HP computers from handhelds to mainframes, including the HP9000
line of UNIX[tm] systems.
It will include such items as lists of available software from the various
contributed software libraries, noticies of conferences and seminars, items
of interest from the board of directors meetings, questions and answers to
and from the INTEREX office and membership. Membership in the INTEREX
organization is NOT a requirement for access to this newsgroup. It is
intended for use by ALL Hewlett Packard computer users.
To date, I have received only 23 votes, all but 1 of which are YES. But if
more votes are not received by the end of the voting period, per net rules,
the group will not be created due to lack of interest.
If you would like to see this group created, solicite your friends and
neighbors to vote, YEA or NEA, but VOTE!!
As always, EMAIL your votes to me. DO NOT POST THEM, THEY WILL NOT BE COUNTED!
Voting will close as of 11:59CST, the night of August 23, 1989.
