This is a repeat of a call for votes to form a newsgroup.
The name of the group shall be:
soc.culture.sri-lanka.
The charter of the group shall be:
"For discussion about Sri Lanka and topics of particular
interest to Lankans."
The group shall be unmoderated.
Voting for the group began on Monday, 14th August, and will end 30
days later, on 13th September.
Votes hould be cast by sending an email message to one of the addresses
below. Any unambiguous, unconditional vote for the above proposals shall be
valid, but it is preferred that the Subject: line of the message contain
either:
Yes vote for soc.culture.sri-lanka
or
No vote for soc.culture.sri-lanka
If your mail header doesn't give your name, please give your name in the
message body, otherwise the message body can be blank.
Votes should be sent to any one of the addresses below. Please don't post votes
to the Usenet or the slnet mailing list.
