We have been discussing a lot of technical aspects about the sport in
rec.sport.misc, where we have been living (we=soccer fans). Discussions
that I remember that would interest you: how to correct playing vices in
kids (punting the ball), refereeing problems, playing tactics, coaching
problems (a couple of coaches post to the group). We have also a lot
of news from around the world, but this is logical, because the coverage
of this sport by the media is minimal. Everybody in Europe understands
the word "soccer" (BTW: where does it come from ?), but we call the
sport "football" as you know. The group should be called rec.sport.soccer
anyway, the distribution will be mainly NA and the posters too.
