This is to announce the establishment of a new mailing list called KIDS.
The KIDS list is reserved for mail from children to other children. It
is being set up in response to the demand that originated on the KIDSNET
list. Initial subscribers to the new list include all those people who
have posted children's messages on KIDSNET and others who have expressed
an interest in this activity. To post messages to KIDS use one of the
addresses:
   kids@vms.cis.pitt.edu Internet
   kids@pittvms.bitnet BITNET
   pitt!vms.cis.pitt.edu!kids uucp
You will recognize these addresses as being identical to those for
KIDSNET, but with the user ID KIDSNET replaced with KIDS.
Administrative support for the new list will be provided through the
JOINKIDS account. Please send subscription requests and problem reports
to one of the addresses:
   joinkids@vms.cis.pitt.edu Internet
   joinkids@pittvms.bitnet BITNET
   pitt!vms.cis.pitt.edu!joinkids uucp
The structure of the list is similar to that of KIDSNET. If you issue a
REPLY command (to respond to sender), your reponse will automatically go
to the list as a whole. If you wish to reply only to the original
sender of the message, look for the original sender's address among the
message headers. If your mailer supports a command that directs your
response to all recipients of the message (as opposed to a response to
the sender), please refrain from using it with either the KIDSNET or
KIDS mailing list. Such a command could result in duplicate copies of
your message being posted to the entire mailing list.

Have fun!
Bob
