John,

Peter's vote (and my survey on motives involved in the original
con.aquaria balloting) is a reaction to a group creation process
that was, at best, suspect (were the votes ever confirmed?).  

So his action is not unsporting, but rational.  

And Peter has a very good mind.  It just needs some guidance
occasionally when it comes to economics! {|8^)]
