denny@uunet.UU.NET (Denny Page) (11/02/89)

Pursuant to the guidelines of group creation, after a suitable period of
discussion (~30 days), a call for votes on the creation of comp.lang.perl
is issued.

As proposed, comp.lang.perl would be an unmoderated group, used for the
discussion of the Perl language (features, bugs, internals, etc.) and the
exchanging of Perl programs and packages.

The voting period will end at midnight, December 1st, 1989.

Please mail your votes/comments to the following addresses:

    Yes votes:	perl-yes@mcmi.UUCP
    No votes:	perl-no@mcmi.UUCP
    Comments:	perl-comments@mcmi.UUCP

Votes may be sent to perl-comments (the Reply-To address of this article),
but for ease of sorting, please use the yes/no addresses if possible.

If you do not have mail routing, mcmi may be reached as uunet!ssbell!mcmi.
