[news.groups] 'comp.graphics.digest' dead?

fac2@dayton.saic.com (Earle Ake) (12/24/89)

Just a short question, is comp.graphics.digest dead or has it not had a lot of
traffic in it recently? Since I signed up for the newsgroup in October, I
haven't seen any postings. What gives?

Since I started keeping copies of our active (17apr89), comp.graphics.digest
has had one message. Here's my full list of low-volume moderated groups:

0	comp.sys.workstations m
0	comp.theory.info-retrieval	m
0	soc.human-nets m
0	soc.politics.arms-d m
1	comp.graphics.digest m
1	comp.society m
1	comp.std.mumps m
5	alt.gourmand m
5	rec.mag.fsfnet m,inet
6	news.announce.important m
7	comp.bugs.4bsd.ucb-fixes	m
7	comp.protocols.kermit m
7	comp.sources.mac m
9	comp.lang.clu m,inet

Obviously some of these are worthwhile (ucb-fixes, news.announce.important).
Equally obviously some of them should be removed. Since I went through
the tedious process of contacting the moderators last time, and nothing
happened, someone else gets to try this time.
