Just to clarify things, let me repeat what it was I said about
Thom's accusations about Tricky Dicky.

I didn't say Tricky Dicky was guilty.  What I said was that, given
the air of hanky-panky surrounding the Trickster's creation of
con.aquaria,  one couldn't blame Thom for being a bit jumpy.   

That's no more outrageous than saying I can understand why one of
the late Mayor Daley's opponents might want an independent recount.
