Even though soc.culture.vietnam is shorter than soc.culture.vietnamese (good for a UNIX type like me :-)), I agree with Bret. Let's use the name soc.culture.vietnamese since this is a discussion group for Vietnamese culture inside Vietnam and abroad. It should be available for all interested parties regardless of race, cultural and political viewpoint. I also think that this group should be unmoderated. The problem with moderated groups is that the posted subjects tend to be filtered by the moderator[s]. Unless the moderator is very unbiased, the scope of the discussions could be limited. Of course, flames tend to go higher in the unmoderated groups but we can use the kill option, can't we? :-). Giao UUCP: {pyramid,uunet}!infmx!giao
