Point of personal privilege: altho the person who invoked the
q-epithet seemed sympathetic to the right of individuals to make
their own choice on sexuality, I find use of the word as offensive
as I would the n-epithet.

    These don't seem to define the content of the group. Why not use
soc.motss.issues and keep all the motss discussion in one hierarchy? It
is clearer what is being discussed, and easier to administer the topics
from a news standpoint.

  This is not an endorsement of creating the group, just a suggestion
for a name if the net disagrees with me.

  Let me use what you would call the o-epithet: obfuscate. This would
make a lot more sense if you named the person, and could bring yourself
to mention what you're talking about.
