[news.groups] who'll take the *.aquaria vote?

xanthian@saturn.ADS.COM (Metafont Consultant Account) (02/21/90)

I think the current situation is pretty silly, but I don't have any
axes to grind on either side. If a vote taker is needed, and a vote
is in fact taken, I'm available. What I will not do is either write
the charter or moderate the arguments.

Discussions as to whether or not I am a saint suitable to hold this
high office should be quashed. Based on my known history of
pederastry, adultery, gun running, drug czaring, presidency seeking,
raw fish eating, child support evading, alimony withholding, obsessive
indolence exhibiting, twit flaming, spagetti coding, and performing
arts angelling, what you see is all you get. Hire this kid.

Again, my opinions, not the account furnishers'.

werner@zephyr.sw.mcc.com (Werner Uhrig) (02/21/90)

I am willing to set up one or several addresses to which
votes can be sent and from where they go directly into
a file which interested parties can access with Anonymous FTP.
(don't tell me that you can't do that - nothing I can do about
that; also don't ask me what it is - if you don't know you
	 probably can't).

In addition, I am willing to include in the voting alias one or
several "interested parties" so that they'd get a copy of the
votes automatigally (I'd rather email them the file with the
accumulated new votes every couple of days - but if that isn't
	good enough, that's ok, too)

I don't volunteer to count votes, mediate to resolve discrepencies,
or do anything else in the matter (well, if I have time and really
am in the mood, I might do all of the above).

	Take it or leave it.
