[news.groups] Bogus rmgroup for alt.slack.

jvogel@jarthur.Claremont.EDU (Jeff Vogel) (03/02/90)

Recently, an rmgroup for alt.slack was sent out. There was no
discussion, no announcement, and no DESIRE OR NEED for this action.

Yes, the group has bogged down recently. So has alt.sex, and practially
every other group that exists or has existed. This is no reason to rmgroup.

Unless I receive a good reason to do otherwise, tomorrow I am going to
recreate the group to undo the damage that has so far been done. And
please, if you feel that we do not want to read a group anymore, let us
know first. It'd be much appreciated.

It was the Pinks! Their time is coming near, and they don't know it.
They DO know it, and they know it in their adenoids. Don't worry, the
X-ists will take care of them. Or not, as the case may be. _Liberace_
told me last night in a DREAM; NO! -- in stark, flaming reality-apparitions!
And let me tell you, Liberace KNOWS -- he's in touch with Those Who
Motivate National Enquirer Editors.
