[news.groups] What is the status of c.s.u???

wnp@iiasa.AT (wolf paul) (08/24/90)

Having been away from the Net for almost a year, I would like to
find out what the status of Comp.Sources.Unix is.

Who is the moderator?
What is the average frequency of postings to the group?

In the month or so that I have had news running here, there has been
NOTHING in C.S.U. -- is that normal?

Thanks for any replies!

yes. I have not yet seen stuff which was submitted in November of
1989, so don't be impatient. Another batch will go out after the next
renaming. Well, after some renaming.

Perhaps Rich would like to explain, become active, or look for a new
moderator. This group has been a real pain, in that people keep sending
mail saying "please turn on my feed for c.s.u, I'm STILL not getting
it."

I'm amazed at the non-reaction to this situation up to now, but I
assume that he's busy doing all the other stuff he does for the net, and
I guess most people are willing to cut him some more slack.

VMS is a text-only adventure game. If you win you can use unix.
