CD-ROM is a mainstream enough thing that you'd expect to see
discussion of it somewhere in comp. If I had to pick a name out of a
hat (other than comp.cd-rom) it would probably be comp.periphs.cd-rom.
By analogy with the scsi group, I guess.
The discussion I've seen of CD-ROM stuff has been scattered far and
wide -- a couple of X windows based interfaces to play audio CDs in
Sun CD-ROM players, an announcement of the Sun User Group CD-ROM, etc.
Would a new newsgroup draw all of this discussion out into one place?
