*** Food for thought *** Dear Netlanders, I'm looking for a program/utility to translate the output of BND286 and BLD286 into Ascii Hex characters. The old standby OH86, barfs on illegal record types on input. A couple of calls to the local Intel Field Service Engineer yielded nothing. Somebody out there must have done something like this. Any pointers ? -- Warren Brown Dept. 350 ...harvard!cybvax0!foxvax5!wrb The Foxboro Company (617) 549-2888 Foxboro, MA 02035 -- -- Warren Brown Dept. 350 ...harvard!cybvax0!foxvax5!wrb The Foxboro Company (617) 549-2888 Foxboro, MA 02035

The official Intel position is that the is currently no way to do this. It is a product that we see a need for and is on our list of things to do. Currently there is no schedule for the development. Unoffcially, it can be done but it not nice. The most straight forward way is to go into the file and edit out the excess baggage and then run it through OH86. This requires that the use understand OMF286. If somebody wants to write the utillity and post it to the net it sure would be appreciated.
