I'm having a hard time installing boards in a system 310 chassis. They seem to be held into the multibus sockets by pressure from a clamp. Every time I touch the clamp it takes me days to bring the system back up. I've got a couple of empty iSBC660 chassis around. These claim to be multibus as well. They have nice sockets that the boards snap into. I'd like to move the whole multibus. One immediate problem is that the 310 has the iLBX multibus extension. It's another 60-bit extension used to add 4 bits to addresses. The system definitely doesn't come up without it. If I can build one of these extensions, will it work? Is there some other incompatibility? Anyone else had chassis problems like this?
