I need technical information on the object code format used by Microsoft on the IBM PC, which is linked by the "link.exe" program. I have been told that this follows something called the "intel object format", or may at least be loosely based on same. Any/all replies welcome, and I'm willing to summarize fully all that I find here. I can't seem to find any technical details anywhere. Glenn A. Emelko Performance Concepts Inc. This information is to be found in the Programmer's Reference Manual published by Microsoft. The format is very similar to the Intel format, but with some extensions and variations. Microsoft are not very good about keeping the spec up to date and so you may find that the information in the reference manual itself is outdated by the latest versions of MS-DOS. The copy I have deals with MS-DOS up to v3.2 (I think). -- ------------------- UUCP: mrh@camcon.uucp / ..uunet!mcvax!ukc!camcon!mrh | Mark Hughes | Telex: 265871 ref:MAG70076 |(Compware .
