[comp.sys.intel] Problem with Intel286 Mbasic

hern@bgsuvax.UUCP (Thomas Hern) (05/14/88)

Anyone have Intel's distribution of Microsoft BASIC (No longer
supported)?

Ours doesn't run: type mbasic or basic, and it gets a bunch of chars
that it doesn't like, complains, and quits. Can't tell anymore since
we only have executable basic. The shell script mbasic doesn't seem to
be the culprit--same problem with or without it. There is an stty call
there with illegal arguments. (Really, shame on you Microsoft.)

Thought this may be a known problem.

This is not the first problem we have had with Intel stuff.
