IIT is putting out a pair of coprocessors which replace the 80287 and 80387. These are said to be up to 2x faster at the same speed, and the 287 replacement will run at up to 20MHz, allowing much faster operation withing rated speeds. Has anyone tried these, particularly on a UNIX system? I have one of the original 386's made when the 387 wasn't available (or even the specs to allow a socket to be designed in). I would love to replace the 10MHz 287 with something a lot faster. -- bill davidsen (davidsen@crdos1.crd.GE.COM -or- uunet!crdgw1!crdos1!davidsen) "The world is filled with fools.
