[comp.sys.intel] New Technology Info Please???

4231_5224@uwovax.uwo.ca (11/29/89)

I am trying to write an essay on 'something technical'. That was the basic
outline given to me. I've narrowed it down to either talking about the
new i486 chip or about EISA technology. I would greatly appreciate it if
anyone who has any information about either of the above mentioned topics
would divulge the information to me. I'm starting to get desperate as the
impending date seems to be nearing quite quickly. Please mail directly to
me.
		Thanks in advance.

You should contact one of the following Intel Sales Offices, as a matter of
principle:

	Intel Semiconductor of Canada, Ltd.
	190 Atwell Drive, Suite 500
	Rexdale, Ontario, Canada M9W 6H8	(416) 675-2105

	2650 Queensview Drive, Suite 250
	Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K2B 8H6 (613) 829-9714

The following items may be of interest:

i486 Family Product Briefs	240459-001	Free
i486 Microprocessor Data Sheet	240440-001	Free
i486 Microprocessor Development Tools Fact Sheet
					280871-001	Free

You can call Intel Literature Sales at (800) 548-4725 and order these; it
shouldn't cost you anything, they ship (at least to Intel sites) promptly,
and that phone number is listed as "In the US and Canada" so it should work
for you.

I couldn't find comparable information about EISA in my old Literature
Guide; if you also request a copy of the Literature Guide, you may have
better luck than me!

Good luck.
