I'm currently working with a Multibus II iRMX system, for which the graphics format is CGI/CGM, but does not conform to the current standard. It is, however, compatible with the earlier standard, VDI/VDM (Virtual Device Metafile). Are there any software tools that can convert these metafiles to more common graphics formats? (I scanned the wuarchive SIMTEL20 mirror with no luck, and couldn't find a comp.graphics FAQ, if such a creature exists.) Rob -- Robert A. If you are talking about the RMX MBII graphics board SBX 279, then the answer is yes. I've taken a CGM file from Freelance on DOS and first converted it to a SBX279 metafile, and second, I've converted it back to VDI C calls that will reproduce the original drawing. The utilities to do this come with the product from Intel. >(I scanned the wuarchive SIMTEL20 mirror with no luck, and couldn't > find a comp.graphics FAQ, if such a creature exists.)
