XENIX Driver Writers: I'm looking some one-to-one mail discussions on writing tty drivers for XENIX. I've just recently picked up 4 serial ports for my AT clone for free but there isn't a driver available for them under XENIX (Frontier Technologies AdCom 2-M, Z80-SIO, interrupt driven). I've written lots of code in C under XENIX but never a driver. Is this something a user can attempt or shouldn't I waste my time with it? I saw the example tty driver in the XENIX docs but it really looks over-powering. Thanks. (On a side note: anyone out there ported "hack" or "adventure" to run under XENIX?) With a smart board using Z80's you're gonna have to know Z80 assembly language. Unless you already know it, or your time is worthless to you, don't bother. You can get a dumb Digiboard for around 300. (4 port) If you're familiar with Z80, getting the device driver to work should'nt be too much trouble.......................... It would help to have VERY complete specs on your board. Michael taht (Tot)

i got 'hack' running under xenix 3.[234] on an altos model 2086
(intel 80286).
