Does anyone have any experience with the four serial port option of the Qubie' AT4X4 Plus card under Xenix. I have one of these cards and have been unable to use all of the ports. The system I am trying to use the card on is : Tandy 3000 SCO Xenix ver. 2.13 hayes compatible internal modem, configured as com2 AT4X4 Plus card with 1 meg of memory and four serial ports. The serial ports are configured as : com# Address interrupt com7 2a0-2a7 irq4 com6 298-29f irq4 com1 3f8-3ff irq4 com5 290-297 irq4 Thus, all four ports are using the com1 interrupt. With the Qubie card I cannot change the address if I want to use all four ports. Com1 works just fine under SCO Xenix, but it does not recognize the other ports. I have done a mkdev serial, so the ports are in /dev. My questions to the net are: 1 Does anyone have a driver for the Qubie' (basic time) board for SCO Xenix? 2 Does anyone know of a patch to Xenix to change the addresses at which it looks for the serial ports? Any help or pointers to a solution are greatly appreciated.
