[comp.unix.xenix] Input buffer overflow

jensen@utgpu.UUCP (07/24/87)

Suddenly my AT clone is giving "input buffer overflow" endlessly until I by
chance hit Ctrl-\ about 50% of the time just when i run mail, all the other
SCO Xenix 2.2 utilities still seem to work fine....
Any suggestions?

The question that comes to mind very quickly is, "How much mail do you
get per day?" or even better, "Does anyone send you large files?"

The reason for those questions is that mail chokes when "/usr/spool/mail/name"
becomes too large. What the size limmit is, I don't know.
