I just finished installing 2.2.0 on a Sperry IT which was formerly running 2.0.6. Extra drivers in the system are for Computone's serial i/o boards and for a Consensys 60Mb Archive Tape. We also have another Sperry without the extra drivers in it and there is no evidence of this problem. The problem is with the 'write' command. The program returns an error message 'illegal instruction' and then dumps core. Occasionally the error message is 'Memory fault'.
