Does anyone know of how to increase the maximum filesize limit under Xenix systems? The system I personally need it done for is SCO Xenix, but I also checked Microport's and IBM's Unix/Xenix V, and they also have the same limit, so my question could potentially be answered by users of those systems as well. The command to change the limit is 'ulimit', executable only under the Bourne shell, and while the superuser (root) is able to increase the limit, I (and some other people) haven't been able to figure out how increase the limit for normal users. I would greatly appreciate any help users could provide. If I get a definitive answer (either yes/no to can it be done), I'll post the answer to the net.
