I saw something posted a short while ago indicating that if a line
printer driver is set up to use the machine's clock interrupt rather
than a printer interrupt it will be intolerably slow... I think I am
in that trap.
I'm running SCO Xenix SysVr2 2.2.1 with an Epson connected to lpt1.
It doesn't run as fast as it used to under DOS, not by a factor of
two or three. What do I do to check/change the configuration,
specifically what interrupt it is keyed to?
Thanks!
