A few weeks ago I mentioned a bug in SCO XENIX 5 Rel 2.2.1 concerning a directory getting walked on. Here is an update. 1. It is always the second byte of the 4th file entry in the root directory of a filesystem 2. It happens on both the root and mounted file systems 3. It has happened on other computers than the one I have 4. It existed in previous releases of XENIX 5 5. I am almost sure it happens when you run out of inodes on that filesystem. -- Phil Hughes, SSC, Inc. P.O.
