There is a bug in the Progress database system release
4.2A that occurs with SCO XENIX and at least V7 UNIX on a Fortune.
When the multi-user server is started, if the database is not
in the current directory, progress is started in buffered (rather
than raw) I/O mode. It complains about this but will ignore the -R
option to specify that it should use raw I/O.
It is reported (as of 10 minutes ago) and under investigation.
