I'm thinking about selling my Altos 586 unix computer and replacing it
with something new IF I can get a good price for it. I really have
no idea what it's worth these days so if you are interested, just send
me an offer. If I can't get a good enough price I'l probably just keep
the thing. The system is configured as follows:
Altos 586 with:
10 mhz 8086 & custom memory management
Altos Xenix (development system with SCCS, C and all text processing stuff)
1 Meg of RAM
40 Meg hard disk
800k floppy
6 serial ports
The machine is about 5 years old and in good working condition (I use it
to support a BBS and do some software development on). Because of the age
of the machine it is offered in strictly as-is condition.
I'll ship it wherever...but like I said, if I can't get a reasonable amount
for it I'll probably just keep it.
