I need help!!
I have a CDC114 which, in reality, is an altos 8600 running Xenix 1.1.
I need a boot disk and dont know enough about the system to actually make
one for myself.
I am also having trouble with the 8 inch floppy that is in it. I am
getting numerous errors any time I access the disk. Does anyone have any
information regarding the internal workings (schematics, port listings, etc.)?
Altos manufactured this machine quite sometime ago, and finally discontinued
any support for this machine 5 years ago.
Is there any other implementation of Xenix, or Unix that exists for this
machine? If so, I would like any information anyone can send me about the
machine or the operating system.
