[comp.unix.xenix] CURSES, WYSE-50 Terminal, under XENIX

Problem - 1

My program is using CURSES routines. I would like
to know if it is possible to restore the previous
display (screen) after the program returns from the
shell. Which curses functions should I use?
The scenario looks as follows:

	program with curses
! -> exit to the shell
		CTRL-D -> return from shell
	restore previous screen
----------------------------------------------------

Problem - 2

In the program above, I have a problem on WYSE-50
terminal while using CURSES under XENIX-286.
My release of XENIX is not based on the TERMINFO,
but rather on termcap curses.

Although ANSI displays produce correct results,
WYSE-50 and other ASCII terminals produce trashy
looking screens. I've got some earlier suggestions
regarding tputs(is), etc. but I was not able to make
a decent headway with it. If you have tackled this
problem please give me a COLLECT call at (619) 452-8649
(or direct if you wish), to Michael Deutsch,
you may reply by E-Mail but I need this answer ASAP.

Thanks

M. Deutsch
