This is posted in part as a howler, but the offer is real: I can now provide the mod.sources/comp.sources.unix archive on Tandy 6000 8" DSDD floppies. Vols 1 - 9 with 16-bit compress total 16 DSDD floppies; I expect that vols 10-12 will add another 6 floppies. The vols 1-9 disks are available now; the rest will come later. To obtain vols 1-9 I'll need 16 formatted 8" XENIX floppies with a stamped return mailer. The same files are also available on two of our systems: vols 1 -9 on "oncoast" at 814 337 3159, login "pdsrc", no BREAK for 2400 or 1200; copy /usr/spool/pdsrc/FILES.LIST for a list of files, and the school system "sir-alan", same login, same modem, copy /usr/spool/pdsrc/all.subjects for a list of files (primarily v 8-12); number is 814 333 6728. The vols 1-9 files came straight from the moderator's tape, and are provided with the assistance of Tri-Delta Industries (bobw@tdi2, bobw@ncoast).
