I understand SCO is shipping as a 'controlled release' VP/ix for 386's, will full release about June 88. Their sales people say they are getting good feedback from those shipped so far. But I want to try something to solve the problem of not being able to find a xenix/unix voice mail product on a pc card, running under unix. Only some single user msdos voice mail cards plus software. What is the liklihood I could (using 2.2 386 SCO Xenix) in a well slotted 386 box, run SCO 386 VP/ix, then attempt in a DOS task, MSDOS Voice Mail card in place, run the voice mail program and have it function normally (at the console or off a terminal) while the rest of the system runs as a dial up xenix system. As a second question, what terminals or terminal emulations likely to be in terminal programs meet the 'scanset' requirment for this VP/ix (such as TVI920/950, ADM5, Wyse100). Only one Iheard about was Wyse 60. Dave Hughes Old Colorado City Communications hplabs!hp-lsd!winfree!chariot!dave
