As a good friend I'm acting as the Unix guru at my old employer. They have a PC/AT running uPort Unix version 2.2L. The system is mostly used for email purposes and has links to a site that runs Ultrix in the same city and to to a site in the USA that runs 4.3BSD. For more than a year the system has been running flawlessly, but recently problems have developed with the UUCP communication with the site in the States. Suddenly mail is returned with the message: "remote access to path/file denied". The system has never been reconfigured since it was brought up initially. The mailer used is smail version 1.2. Can anybody give clue what's happening. Please mail your replies to either pim@philmds or pim@fehq.fluke.nl. Thanks you very much. --pim
