[comp.unix.xenix] "tabs" on SCO Xenix SysV/286

Hello net.world. I was looking through an AT&T System V manual (for
release 2) and I found a "tabs" command, for setting the tabs on a
terminal to be something interpreted, rather than just the hardware
defaults. This would be useful as I like 4-space tabs rather than
1-tab/8-space tabs as defaults on IBM PC/XT/AT level hardware...

SCO Xenix SysV/286 2.2.1 (as I have it at least) does NOT have a
"tabs" program anywhere.

Is it supposed to? Does someone have public domain source for such
a program, that runs on SCO Xenix?

Thanks-
