I've had a problem with the uts30 termacap on out sco xenix 2.1.3 system: Everytime i scrolled up, either by ^Y, ^U, or by deleting lines, in vi i would get the error message "OOPS" printed on my screen. After changing a variety of things in the termcap for this terminal, i discovered that dotting out sc (save cursor) would fix the problem.... I deleted some other stuff and kept sc in, thinking that i had exceeded the max limit for an entry, but it didn't work. Rc (restore cursor) *is* defined. I don't understand why this would occur; it doesn't seem to be affecting the performance of vi (at least at 9600). Does anyone have an explanation? -- Derek Terveer root@corum.UUCP ..!clyde!lily!corum!root
