I've been a loyal and happy Digiboard customer for a while now, and
would recommend their product almost without reservation. Maybe
someone can help sort this problem out:

I bought 2 intelligent/8i boards, and they are well made. I have not,
however, been able to get the driver to function properly under SCO
Xenix 386 v2.2.1.

The driver that came in the box did not work at 9600 baud (it worked
pretty well at 4800, but c'mon). So, I called Digiboard and spoke to
Tech Support (Chris). He told me that there was a newer driver, and
he'd send it to me. Well, I got the new driver, and installed it, and
it does work better at 9600 baud, but if I do:

   cat /etc/termcap

and then interrupt it in the middle with CTRL-C, it either keeps
typing to the end of the file anyway, or hangs the port. The dumb
card doesn't do this.

I called back Digiboard, and now they say there is an even newer
driver.

Questions:

Has anyone gotten a digiboard 8i board to work under SCO Xenix
2.2.1 at 9600 baud and above flawlessly?

Is there some trick to it?

Please mail responses, and I'll let you know what I find out, one way
or the other.

Thanks for any ideas,

Marty
