As the real sender of this question is not yet a member of this newsgroup, I only put this subject in behalf of Matthias Frei. Please don't forget to e-mail any answer directly to frei@rubmez.uucp. Hello Netlanders, On our AT we have an Interface-Card to IEC-Bus, working with a Library under MS-DOS. You know, you can link Xenix-Porgrams with a DOS-Library without any problems normally. Because the IEC-Bus Routines access physical addresses of the card, you get a core. Linking with the -dos Flag causes the program running correctly under DOS. I think I have to write a device-driver and install the card as an i-node in /dev by mknode. Questions: Did anybody do such stuff ? Who can send me a frame for a device-driver using MS-DOS librarys (source code not accessible) ? Thanks for any statement Matthias Frei - Please ensure that your answer is also be sent to frei@rubmez.uucp as the sender does not yet participate in this newsgroup. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Snail-mail: | E-Mail address: Center for Microelectronics | UUCP frei@rubmez.uucp University of Bochum | (...uunet!unido!rubmez!frei) 4630 Bochum 1, P.O.-Box 102143 | West Germany |
