I would like to know if anyone has developed a console device driver for SCO Xenix that allows you to fiddle with graphics on a Hercules display adapter. I'd do it myself, but I don't want to re-invent the wheel, and I don't want to loose the "virtual console" capability. Does anyone know what the ioctl is that the kernel sends to the driver to switch display screens? Is it even done through the driver? I'm working on version of Xenix 2.1.3 if that is important (Don't tell me to upgrade, I don't have that kind of money). -- Lee A. Come on people, if you want the latest and greatet toys, you have to spend the bucks. And besides, the upgrades really aren't that expensive, if you registered your software in the first place. And yes, I do have such a toy. It takes libplot input and draws neat lines on the screen. I'm considering writing a libherc using the libplot interface, but that's still some time away. - John. -- John F.
