According to the Xenix manuals you can use mkfs with a prototype file, and the first item in this file is the boot program for the first sector of the disk. Has anyone been successful at compiling, linking, and writing the boot image? I can easily compile and link, but getting the resulting file into the proper format for mkfs to write seems to be impossible. There seems to be some bizzare combination of header, magic number, and offset of transfer address within the file that I can't get right. Help! -- Lee A.
