[comp.unix.xenix] Correction

jinkins@ut-emx.UUCP (Richard Jinkins) (09/01/88)

In an earlier posting I asked for information on 386 machines, namely
those with Everex motherboards. On the 16mz machine from QIC Research
I indicated that it had a 32 bit slot for memory expansion. This is
not correct, it does not have a 32 bit slot. However QIC does have a
20 mz machine (Everex motherboard) that has 2 32 bit slots. This
machine is obviously more expensive, $2350 vs $1695, for the basic box
(i.e. no hard disk or monitor). Sorry for the wrong information.

I would still like to hear from anyone running this type of hardware,
especially if they are running some flavor of Unix/Xenix.

                                            Richard
