Some time ago I asked for information on programs to read Xenix disks from MSDOS. The response was zero. Since then, I have written my own for Turbo C. The program will read 360, 720, and 1200 k SCO Xenix disks under MSDOS. If the disk was written with tar, cpio, shar, etc. on the Xenix side, the resulting file from my conversion program is proper input for the corresponding program under MSDOS. Note that this program accepts original Xenix disks, not those made with the dosformat/doscp programs. Since the response to my initial request was zero, I am assuming that this program is only of very limited interest. I do not want to bother submitting it to one of the groups that transmits sources or binaries. If anyone is interested, they can request the (quite brief) Turbo C source code by e-mail. NOTE: Requests go to the address in the signature, not in the header. Earl H.
