Netlanders: Is anyone using a SCSI interface with SCO Xenix ? If you've had any luck setting up a 386 system with a SCSI controller for a hard disk you're input would be very valuable. The system is an 386 AT ( Everex Step 386 ) with an Adaptec SCSI controller and a Maxstor 150MB drive. Thanks in advance.

I don't know what Adaptec SCSI adapter you are using, but if you are using the Adaptec AHA-1540 PC-AT Adapter, then you only need to get the SCO V2.2.4 from Tandy. It supports the AHA-1540. The system 'cpe' is using this adapter, which is Tandy part number 25-4161 (299.00) and has been nothing short of outstanding. BTW, 2.2.4 will also support ST-506 stuff as well as the SCSI stuff. I think you will be amazed by the overall system performance. Roy Neese Tandy Computer Product Engineering killer!ninja!cpe!neese
