If you requested but have not received a copy of (a) my program to read Xenix disks under MSDOS or (b) my modification of GNU tar to do the same [and compile under Borland's Turbo C], send me an ordinary postal address. I have responded to all requests PROPERLY mailed to me, but some addresses have resulted in returned mail. I will ship 5.25 inch floppies in Xenix tar format unless otherwise specified. In other words, I will make the floppies with the following commands: format /dev/fd096ds9 tar 4cv . I am testing my own pdtar (public domain tar) to read/write from/to XENIX/MSDOS now. When this is stable, I will post an announcement to this effect. If you want to be really helpful, send me a gummed return address label that I can slap on the envelope with YOUR disk in it. Earl H.
