The pathalias version 9 that I had been running on my SCO xenix 2.2.1 system for so many months has magically broken. Now, after loading up to about 1000K of memory, it forks... the original process hangs around, though takes no more processor time and does not continue to grow. After the second one grows some more, it forks, again leaving the parent static... after a while, the system runs out of VM (Swap) space, and hangs up. This never happenned before, and it happens whether or not I give pathalias all of the maps. nm pathalias|grep fork is empty, so whatever your problem is, and i'll grant it's a weird one, it has nothing to do with pathalias. peter
