Here is an update on solutions to console keyboard lockup under SCO Xenix versions 2.2.0 and 2.2.1. First, several computer manufacturers have keyboard firmware upgrades which solve the problem. Second, SCO Support has a Support Level Fix (SLF xnx058) which does not break LED functionality. This is available at no charge to supported SCO customers. Third, there is an adb patch documented in the SCO Xenix Release Notes for versions prior to 2.2.2. This patch does break LED functionality and should only be used as a final resort.
